there's a thread about this already, though it is not in English.
Mezon did have a site for patch in linux, though I see that it is down at the moment.
Another solution for getting Mezon adapter working:
Mezon uses WiMax, there's a package in Ubuntu for that: http://packages.ubuntu.com/maverick/madwimax
and patch for Mezon:
i have already this package from ubuntu, actally the ubuntu say a new version is avilable.
im now on this 2 page with mezon patch, but i have no idea how to instal this patch, i got whole package, this ar 3 files txt... what to do with them??? sorry im really amateur in linux, first steps...
please help me how should i use this patch
i know that this question is stupid but i really dont know... where should i save the patch and how instal it???????????????
Personally I haven't tried that patch out (since I don't own any Mezon adapters at all), though I think that you should download the tarball from the patch website and simply install it by:
chmod +x madwimax-mezon-svn.install
Though, I'm not if this works.
ok it makes no sense. thanks for the post but i still dont know how to do it.i have to read about ubuntu.
Or maybe somebody from vilnius could meet with me and take a look?? it would be really great!!! p l e a s e
Ugh, I don't live in Vilnius. Have you tried visiting Mezon shop at "Panorama" shopping center?
yea i bough it in panorama but the girl there has no idea about more than windows. so i ll try to call the helpline and make maybe a eeting with some specialist.
and u dont know nobody in vilnius who is good in linux??
Uhm, probably one of the administrators: sirex Try contacting him in private, sorry that's pretty much I can help with.
